Following the closure of registration for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, on Friday, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has urged candidates to crosscheck their registration details and make necessary corrections before midnight Saturday, April 6.

JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede disclosed that over 1.5 million candidates have so far registered for the annual matriculation examination.

Registrar of JAMB, Ishaq Oloyede, said in Abuja on Wednesday, that the network provider, which is one of the two contracted to provide internet access for the conduct of its computer - based UTME, failed to provide network to its Bwari CBT center last Monday

JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, at a meeting with the military high command in Abuja solicited the intervention and cooperation of the Nigerian Army to secure the forthcoming UTME.

The Registrar, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Ishaq Oloyede has disclosed that the Board has prosecuted five persons for selling fake Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME forms to unsuspecting candidates.

Newly appointed Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation and Board, JAMB, Ishaq Oloyede, has said that admission into tertiary institutions must comply with national policies.
