The National Secretary of the Nigerian Enviromental Society, NES, Paul Akporowho noted that e-waste should not be discarded the same way as domestic waste because they contain chemicals that could be harmful on the environment and the people.
Speaking at a parliamentary session to mark the 50th anniversary of the creation of Lagos State, Tinubu said Nigerians will resist any attempt to plunge the country back to the dark days of military rule.
The Lagos State Government has said that the developers of the three-storey building which collapsed in the Ilasa area of the State on Thursday had ignored a stop work order, and were therefore directly responsible for the tragic incident.
