The protracted communal clashes that have claimed several lives and led to destruction of houses and farmlands in Agatu Benue State seem to have come to an end.
The Nasarawa State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, has said that it would not buy the speed limit devices which the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, had mandated all commercial vehicle drivers to install in their vehicles.
As part of efforts to curb the incessant clashes between farmers and herdsmen in Nasarawa State, an 18-man disciplinary committee has been set up in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area to monitor and punish any herdsman found disturbing the peace.
