Smallholder women farmers' contributions to food security in Nasarawa State is no doubt being threatened by inadequate information and access to critical farm inputs despite government efforts towards revamping the agricultural sector.
Efforts of the Nigerian government to ensure food security is going to waste as poor implementation, corruption and flagrant disregard for relevant laws in the award of contract for the construction of dams and provision of irrigation infrastructure is rife in the system.
