A large number of aircraft belonging to local airline operators have been grounded in recent times in airports across the country due to lack of foreign exchange to fund maintenance.
Arik Air, has accused the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, of ‘unprofessional’ conduct by going public with the N6 Million fine Issued to the Airline on Tuesday.
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has ordered Arik Air to return all delayed luggage of its passengers from London to Lagos within the next 24 hours, as well as pay the affected passengers $150 each as compensation.
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has warned airlines operating in the country, especially foreign carriers, to immediately stop the sale of air tickets in the United States dollars and other foreign currencies.
