The NUJ called on the Inspector General of Police,IGP, Ibrahim Idris, to deploy all necessary resources at his disposal to apprehend the killers of the journalist and bring them to justice.
The protesting journalists charged the State government to ensure security of lives and property in the state, while urging the police to fish out the killers of their colleague.
The NUJ president of Radio Bayelsa, Tonye Yemoleigha thas said that he has instructed his lawyers to commence an assault and defamation action against the General Manager of the station, John Idumange.
