The Nigerian IDPs, some of who are nursing mothers, recounted the inhumane treatment meted out on them by the Cameroonian forces before they were forcefully deported and dumped in Pulka, a border town in Borno State.
Nigeria and Cameroon alongside the UNHCR at the start of March signed an agreement stating that refugees residing in Cameroon who do not want to return to Nigeria will not be forced to do so, but the UN agency says forced deportations have continued to happen.
