THE Alfred Friendly Press and the Trace Foundation are inviting applications for the TRACE Investigative Reporting Fellowship which supports investigative journalism.
The program begins with a three-week orientation and training seminar at the Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Missouri. Topics include ethics, writing, editing, multimedia reporting, investigative reporting and data journalism.
Journalists proficient in English can apply for this program in the United States.
Fellows then join one or more major US media outlets for five months, followed by a final seminar in Washington.

Fellows will receive travel, health insurance and basic living expenses.
The organiser says, “TRACE Foundation was established to promote, support, and fund research, investigative journalism, publications, videos, and related projects that encourage greater commercial transparency and advance anti-bribery education.”
