Anas’ partner Hussein-Suale an undercover journalist shot dead

UNDERCOVER investigator Ahmed Hussein- Suale and a key member of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye Private Investigations team, yesterday was shot dead by unidentified men on a motorbike.

It is reported that Ahmed, while driving home, was shot three times, twice in the chest and another in the neck late at Madina in Accra, Ghana.

Anas confirmed the murder of the journalist, a core team member who he said was like a brother to him to  Graphic Online, a Ghanian news platform.

Ahmed was one of Tiger Eye journalists whose photographs the member of parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong circulated in his ‘who watches the watchman’ anti-Anas video documentary and called on the public to deal with him for a handsome reward.

Another member of the Anas said that the assassins made away with nothing that belonged to the deceased journalist.

“He was just shot and killed, nothing was taken from him”, he said.

He also added that the body has been taken to the Police Hospital Morgue and that he could be buried as soon as possible in keeping with Islamic rites.

The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), has condemned the killing and called on security agencies to promptly and thoroughly investigate the murder and bring the perpetrators to book.
