Niger Governor Gets New Chief Press Secretary

Niger State governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, on Friday, confirmed the appointment of a defense correspondent with Blueprint Newspaper,  Jibrin Ndache, as his Chief Press Secretary.

Ndache who was introduced to newsmen at the Government House in Minna, replaces Ibraheem Dooba who recently  from the post with immediate effect.

Ndache solicited for the cooperation of all journalists in the state for the success of his duty, while pledging to ensure a very cordial relationship between the media and the government in the state.

The new CPS called on journalists to partner with the state government in the development of the state and assured of improved attention to the welfare of Government House press crew.

“My duty is to ensure that we work together as a team. This appointment is an opportunity to contribute my quota to the development of the state.

“I therefore appeal for the support and cooperation of all journalists and media establishments for a collective success,” he said.

Nsache was born on August 17, 1974 and is a graduate of English from Bayero University in Kano and had a stint as a lecturer of Communication Skills at Kaduna Polytechnic.
