The Nigerian Military has issued a stern warning to the Amnesty International, AI, and it affiliates to desist from meddling into security issues in the country, adding that the organisation was a threat to democracy in the country.
The Amnesty International on Wednesday released its annual report on Nigeria in which it disclosed that the activities of Boko Haram terrorists group in the North East have so far affected 14.8 million people in the region.

The international human rights group had alleged in the report that the Nigerian Army killed no fewer than 150 members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, during various protests by the group between August 2015 and August 2016.
Amnesty International, AI, has appealed to Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state not to go ahead with the proposed demolition of over 1,000 houses at Gbagyi Villa in Kaduna state.
