Following the closure of registration for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, on Friday, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has urged candidates to crosscheck their registration details and make necessary corrections before midnight Saturday, April 6.
JAMB spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, however clarified that awaiting results candidates who failed to upload their result between May and August, would not be confirmed to gain admission into any tertiary institution.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has disclosed that all Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination centres, UTME, which are now computer based centres, must deploy close circuit television cameras as part of measures to tackle examination malpractices.
Ahead of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, billed to hold in May 2017, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has said candidates who are awaiting their O' level results would no longer qualify to apply for the annual matriculation examination
