Reports claim the former governor was arrested for allegedly inciting his supporters to stop the conduct of local government elections in the State which has been scheduled for July 1.
The Kano state police command said its efforts to deal with the crimes of kidnapping, armed robbery and banditry in the southern part of the state, has led to the arrested of 11 suspected kidnappers and freeing of 12 victims inside the Falgore forest believed to be the den of kidnappers.
