The International Committee of the Red Cross, ICRC, has revealed that it has treated over 13,000 children under the age of five suffering from severe acute malnutrition in North East Nigeria.
The Paris-based medical charity, Medicines San Frontieres, MSF has again raised the alarm over the humanitarian crisis in the North east of Nigeria, saying that thousands of children below the age of five are dying daily of starvation and disease.
Borno State Government said it is set to discharge more than 2000 children who are being treated for severe acute malnutrition at the Borno State Nursery Village.
