The trial of former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, has been adjourned till January 25, 2017, following the inability of a co-accused person in the case, Salisu Shuaibu, to appear in court due to illness.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned Nicholas Ashinze, a former special assistant to the embattled former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki, before Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court, Abuja on a 13-count charge of corruption and money laundering to the tune of N36.8 billion.
The trial of media mogul, Raymond Dokpesi, who was arraigned by the EFCC in February, for allegedly receiving the sum of N2.1 billion from former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki, began on Wednesday at the Abuja Federal High Court.
