GOVERNORSHIP candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the ongoing Osun State gubernatorial election Ademola Adeleke has won his polling unit, PUn009, Sagba/Abogunde Ward 2, Ede North Local Government Area (LGA).
Adeleke got 218 votes from the total number of accredited voters put at 245.
Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adegboyega Oyetola, recorded 23 votes at Adeleke’s polling unit.

The ADP had two votes. Accord Party had one vote.
One vote was rejected.
Adeleke had earlier voted at the polling unit where he applauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the conduct of the election.
He described the poll as peaceful.
Meanwhile, The ICIR’s findings showed more than 50 per cent of total registered voters in Adeleke’s polling unit were absent.
Assistant Presiding Officer II, Yusuf Busari disclosed that 478 voters did not vote at the polling unit.
He earlier announced the number of total registered voters as 732.
