Diaspora Africa offers training on climate migration in Africa

The Diaspora Africa Migration Media Hub, in collaboration with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM)  Nigeria, offers a training course on climate titled “Reporting Climate Migration in Africa.” 

The course will help participants develop simple, powerful, and accurate climate migration stories that resonate with their audiences.

Through this course, journalists will gain awareness, understanding, and science-based insights on migration and climate change in Nigeria and Africa.

The two-day training will be held in Lagos, July 9 to 10.

    Journalists aged 18 to 35, based in Nigeria with an interest in climate storytelling are encouraged to apply.

    Lagos participants will receive transport reimbursements for the training and Lunch will be served.
