THE candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Biodun Oyebanji has won his polling unit in the ongoing Ekiti State governorship election.
The ICIR observed that Oyebanji voted at his Polling Unit 003, Ward 04, Okelele, Ikogosi, Ekiti West Local Government Area of the state on Saturday morning.

The result of the unit was announced by the INEC presiding officer Deji Moneyin shortly after voting on Saturday afternoon.
According to the result announced by INEC, Oyebanji of the APC got 296 votes from the total of number of 300 accredited voters while his closest rival Bisi Kolawole of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled one vote.
Three void votes were recorded in the polling unit.
