Ekiti: EFCC arrests persons involved in vote buying

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested persons suspected to be involved in vote-buying in the ongoing governorship election in Ekiti State.

A video footage on Channels Television showed how the EFCC operatives raided a story building to arrest the suspects.

    However, the video did not disclose the particular ward or Local Government Area where the arrest took place.

    However, according to the video, the suspects were seen with bags containing money and books with details of voters.

    Some of the suspects who were seen arrested include an old woman and some young men.

    The footage also revealed that phones were also seized from the suspects.
