Many Feared Dead In Borno Suicide Bomb Attack

More than 10 people are believed to Have been killed and many others injured in Thursday suicide bomb attack on a mosque in a suburb of Maiduguri, Borno State capital.

The attack occurred around 6:30pm at Molai, 15 kilometres from the state capital, as Muslim worshipers prepared for prayers.

A resident of Molai who confirmed the attack to our correspondent said that that rescue workers, including the army and Civilian JTF, were helping to evacuate the injured for treatment.

Spokesperson for the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Abdulkadir Ibrahim, said officials of the agency had been deployed to offer humanitarian services, including taking the injured to the hospital.
