Peter Obi unveils Baba-Ahmed as running mate

LABOUR Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi has unveiled Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed as his running mate.

Obi announced Baba-Ahmed as his running mate at the LP national headquarters in Abuja on Friday.

Baba-Ahmed is the founder and Pro-Chancellor of Baze University, Abuja.

The Kaduna-born politician is a graduate of Economics from the University of Maiduguri.

He represented Zaria Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007.

In 2011, he was elected as the Senator for Kaduna North Senatorial District but his election was overturned by the Electoral Tribunal in 2012.
