The Peoples Democratic Party has rejected the results of the Edo governorship election held on Wednesday, even as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, was yet to declare an overall winner.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has begun announcing the results of various local governments in the Edo State governorship election which held on Wednesday.
The Edo Governorship election, which holds today after an 18 days postponement, kicked off on a high note as reports indicate an enthusiastic voter turnout.
The Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, says that it has intelligence reports that many foreigners in Edo state are in possession of permanent voter cards, PVCs, and may come out to vote in the governorship election on Wednesday.
