In one of the latest big discoveries of proceeds of corruption, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, has discovered 23 estates with about 202 houses, allegedly belonging to one Sanusi Muhammed, an aide of former Bauchi State governor, Isa Yuguda.
The Senate has frowned at the growing underfunding of anti-corruption agencies in Nigeria, noting that the development could scuttle the campaign against corruption in the country, which is one of the hallmarks of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
The Chairman of Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences, ICPC, has said that he was upset by the celebration and rousy welcome accorded the former governor of Delta State, James Ibori who returned to Nigeria after serving jail term in United Kingdom over corruption saying "I feel very upset".
