As part of efforts to ensure the success of Saturday’s legislative elections in Rivers State, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, will deploy a total of 10, 294 officers for the conduct of the election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has reiterated its readiness to conduct the National Assembly re-run elections in Rivers state if the River State Government and other stakeholders in the state are willing to give undertaking for a secure and peaceful atmosphere.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, said it had directed its states’ offices to recommence the distribution of unclaimed Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs, to their owners.
