Three military officers collapse during Democracy Day parade

THREE military officers collapsed during the Democracy Day parade at the Eagles Square in Abuja on Monday.

The officers were standing under the sun for hours before the event begun.

They collapsed one after the other at different stages of the parade when the event eventually started.

It is believed that the officers collapsed as a result of exhaustion.

Medical personnel at the scene moved the officers to a medical shed where they were revived.

The celebration continued with performances from various arms of the Armed Forces and the police.
