THE International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is accepting applications for its new Leap News Innovation Lab.
Leap is a 10-week remote program intended to help small news teams design and develop solutions to build trust among their communities.
The time commitment is two 90-minute workshops a week, plus two three-hour sprints.
International journalists can apply to participate in a news innovation lab.

News teams of two to five are encouraged to apply together so they can implement the solutions in their newsroom. Teams will work with mentors to build out their ideas, and the top idea will receive a grant for further development.
The ICFJ is also accepting applications from individuals who could work with others on a project.
The program is slated for July 5, 2022, to October 31, 2022.
