ABDUCTED Anglican Bishop of Jebba Diocese, Kwara State, Oluwaseun Aderogba, have been released alongside his wife and driver.
The bishop and the others were abducted by gunmen on Sunday night along the Oyo-Ogbomoso expressway.
The Oyo State Police Command spokesperson Adewale Osifeso confirmed the release of the abductees on Tuesday evening.

Osifeso said operatives of the Command safely rescued the victims around 6:20 pm.
According to him, the abductees have already been reunited with their families.
The Oyo police spokesman said the hoodlums were pressurised into freeing their captives due to the heat turned on them by the massive deployment of policemen in the area for search and rescue operations.
Osifeso did not disclose whether ransom was paid but the abductors were said to have demanded N50 million after kidnapping the bishop, his wife and driver on Sunday.
“The abducted Bishop Rt. Rev Aderogba Adeyinka of Jebba Anglican Diocese regained his freedom unhurt alongside his wife and driver around 1820hours today, Tuesday 14/06/2022.
“The clergyman in the company of his wife and driver were abducted on Sunday 12/06/2022 at about 2100HRS after the victim’s vehicle developed a mechanical fault while travelling from Yewa, Ogun State to Jebba, Kwara State en route an isolated area along New Oyo/Ogbomoso Expressway.
“The massive deployment of police personnel for the operation to rescue the victims and the domination of the entire area by the police tactical teams pressurised the abductors in freeing the victims.
“Investigation is ongoing to apprehend the perpetrators of this heinous crime and bring them to justice,” the statement released by the police said.
The Diocese of Osun Anglican Communion also confirmed the news on its Twitter handle.
“Thank you, Jesus! Thanks to everyone who yielded to our call for prayer for Rt. Revd. Oluwaseun Aderogba and his wife. They are safe at last! May God heal our land. Amen,” the tweet said.
